Virginia Mallory Brown
April 30, 1953 - March 16, 2012
Virginia, born April 30, 1953, passed away on March 16, 2012 at Memorial University Medical Center following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Brown, her parents, Ann and John Mallory, a brother, Marshall Mallory Sharon of Gadsden, AL., a sister Nancy O'Reilly John and a brother, Tom Mallory Twaneesa, both of Atlanta, ten nieces and nephews.
A native Savannahian, Virginia graduated from Jenkins High and the Medical College of Georgia. She enjoyed many happy years nursing in the out-patient clinic at Memorial Hospital.
Virginia was a precious, sweet person. She will be
greatly missed by friends and family.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, March 20th, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Debele-Williams gravesite in the original Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Green House Fund at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, 412 Parkersburg Road, Savannah, GA 31406.
